
Your Challenge: At least 1 time per day take a moment to de-stress using one of your stress strategies. Do this at least 5 days a week from now until the end of the year
The holidays are here, there's a million (and one) things going on . Now is the perfect time to adopt a stress strategy or two and implement them daily.
Need some examples?

State a positive affirmation ten times in your head.
- Breathe deeply - Take a second, close your eyes and take a deep breath and repeat five times. Deep breathing is an excellent way to decrease stress, slow your heart rate, and lower blood pressure.
- Meditate or take a yoga class.
- Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages (coffee, soda, etc.) which can stimulate your body and increase nervousness and anxiety.
- Exercise – even if it's a brisk walk around the block! Physical exercise produces endorphins which will reduce your stress levels.
- Rest – commit to getting 8 hours of sleep a night.
- Get a massage.
- Adjust your perspective and find the positive in your stressful situation.
