Challenge Bank   Limeade Tips

With the holiday season upon us, calendars are quickly filling with events, outings and to-dos. Avoid the too-busy burnout and make sure you fit in quality time with good friends and family—even it's nothing fancier than meeting for a cup of coffee.

During this challenge, set aside time at least once each week to be social, meet new friends and enjoy the company of those you love. Not only will you benefit mentally and emotionally, you'll also gain 50 reward points.

91%

of people decorate their homes for the holidays. Turn it into a social event by hosting a decorating party with a few close friends. Play holiday music, host snacks and drinks and catch up as you hang lights.

Do large social events cause more stress than joy? Stay connected your way.

  • Make plans with just one person at a time.
  • Give experiences instead of stuff. Treat a friend to a day on the slopes or a host a homemade dinner and game night with a select group.
  • Only say 'Yes' to invites you're excited about (but RSVP regardless!).
  • If your calendar was taken over before the first leaf fell, think ahead to January and February as options for socializing. Being busy can be fun, but there's a fine line where it turns into a chore. Your friends will still want to see you in 2013.
